1986 - Creation of IGLOO
Igloo was established in 1986 as an electromechanical refrigeration plant. Initially, plant was producing small quantities of cooling devices, but over time, transformed into a modern well organized firm, with the success of offering over 400 products in international markets.
1990 - The conquest of the eastern markets and the dynamic investments in machinery and infrastructure.
Beginning of the 90s is a major step towards the development of the company. Significant modernization and replacement of machinery. Numerically controlled machine for punching and bending metal sheet, helped to speed up production, thereby raising the quality of equipment igloo. With further investment, there has been significant development of the company and a significant increase in sales, especially in the eastern markets.
1995 - Further development of the company
Investment in machinery helped to significantly increase production capacity and sales grow quickly. Within 2 years, production has increased threefold. The number of employees increased as well. At that time, the company expanded with two new production halls, warehouse building and office building.
2000 - The dynamic development of foreign markets – Direction West
This year, Igloo has developed sales in the countries of Central and Western Europe (France, Great Britain, Hungary, Romania and many others), as well as in North America and Canada. Also invested in the modernization of information systems by implementing a system of business management - AXAPTA 3.0. In 2001 the company obtained "ISO 9001:2000" Confirming the same high quality of equipment.
2005 - More investment and optimization of production
Purchase of modern equipment allowed us to create new lines of equipment as well as refresh and match supply to changing market conditions. This resulted in increase of sales in nearly all markets.
2009 - A new step towards dynamic development.
The year 2009 is definitely a breakthrough in the history of IGLOO Company. Key events include the construction of a modern production hall (floor area 12 000 m2), the implementation of revolutionary systems for which we have been awarded as IT Leader in 2009 and finally start of the process of rebranding.
